Privacy and audience measurement
MystMind uses optional first-party measurement to understand which pages, samples and purchase options interest visitors. It starts only after you accept. Refusing does not restrict the website or its free samples.
Your choice
Use “Measurement preferences” at the bottom of any public page to accept or decline. Declining withdraws consent, removes the measurement identifiers from this browser and deletes the retained measurement events associated with its current identifier. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal also disables capture.
What is measured
- Page views, visits separated by 30 minutes of inactivity, and clicks on a free sample or a digital, print or annual-access purchase link.
- The page path, optional pack reference, date/time and a broad source category such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Pinterest or direct. Query strings, full referring URLs and search terms are not saved.
- Random browser and visit identifiers are hashed in the measurement database. They are pseudonymous identifiers, not names or identified people. We do not save IP addresses or browser fingerprints for measurement, and do not connect these identifiers to reviews, sales or customer records.
Cookies and retention
A necessary preference cookie remembers acceptance or refusal for 90 days. Optional measurement cookies identify a consenting browser for up to 90 days and a visit for 30 minutes after activity. The browser identifier’s expiry is not extended on every page view. Reports cover up to 90 days. Expired event records are excluded from reports and deleted when the measurement service or report is next used; no background deletion schedule is configured. The owner may retain aggregate weekly reports without browser identifiers.
Who can access the data
Measurement stays in MystMind’s existing website hosting and database infrastructure through Sites and Cloudflare. The report is restricted to the website owner. No advertising analytics service, advertising profile or cross-site tracking is added. Hosting providers necessarily process requests to serve and secure the website under their own service arrangements.
How to read our figures
Reports describe measured visits and consenting browsers, not all visitors or unique people. Refusal, browser privacy settings, blockers and best-effort bot exclusion limit coverage. A sample click does not prove a download finished, and a purchase-link click does not prove a sale. Counting begins when this service is activated; earlier visits cannot be recovered.
Other website interactions
Pack requests store the country, grade, subject, topic and book language you choose. Review and pack-rating forms use a separate security cookie, up to one year, and show what will be published before submission. These records are separate from audience measurement. Purchases and their payment or delivery details are handled by the linked store, such as Gumroad, Etsy, TPT or Lulu, under its own privacy notice.
